Job Description : Technical Sales Engineer / Product Sales Engineer
We are one of the world's largest independent electronic component distributors, operating with a hybrid distribution model. We have recently established Nuvonix by Rebound, a new franchise distribution service setup, focusing on emerging brands and manufacturers with many opportunities for career growth. Our goal is to generate technical sales, leads, and revenue.
We have an exciting opportunity within our Semiconductor Franchised Division as part of our global growth strategy. We are seeking a Technical Sales Engineer / Product Sales Engineer to promote franchise brands by emphasizing technical capability, cost reduction, and supply chain risk management. Reporting to the Sales and Marketing Manager, you will engage with new and existing customers to secure high-value, design-led projects across our growing line card of franchise distribution brands in the region.
The role involves working with a wide range of customers to understand their new product design prospects, product development roadmaps, and existing project AVL socket replacement opportunities. You will collaborate with the Rebound commercial, technical, operations, and product teams to promote and sell our partner semiconductor, discrete, passive, and other products.
Your responsibilities include developing and tracking strategic partnerships with diverse customers to achieve business goals, engaging with customer engineering and component teams, and using your sales and technical capabilities to investigate, specify, design, and drive demand for our franchise products.
You will also create new customer accounts by identifying potential leads, planning sales calls and customer visits, building relationships, preparing quotations, and managing sales from design to order fulfillment. Additionally, you should be able to present technical and commercial information effectively to customers.
Requirements :
* Bachelor's degree in Electronics
* Working knowledge of electronic components technology
* Strong interpersonal skills and fluency in English and Spanish, both verbal and written
* Inquisitiveness to identify and develop new sales opportunities
