JOB DESCRIPTION:
This is an opportunity for someone ready to take the next step in their Finance career in a hybrid role covering Accounts Payable & Finance Reporting. You will work closely within both our Finance Reporting Team as well as Accounts Payable Team. As this role has a dual aspect you will ensure smooth and timely completion of month end and other periodic tasks including supporting the submission of information to regulatory bodies and additional information to HBX Group finance consolidation team as well as undertaking several aspects of Accounts Payable, including but not limited to supplier reconciliations and issuing of payments.
Responsibilities:
Assisting and supporting all month end processes including, but not limited to, ensuring all journals, accruals, pre-payments, and revenue items are posted correctly.
Completing monthly Client & Supplier override reporting, you will be responsible to ensure the corresponding invoices are raised and shared with the relevant team.
Supporting and act as first point of escalation for all internal and external financial queries actioning them in a timely manner.
Work in a collaborative manner with wider finance and non-finance members within the business.
Other duties as are within the scope and spirit of the job and the title of the position that may arise from time to time or as required by the Finance Controller and wider Finance team.
Responsible for the daily reconciliation and posting in SAP of supplier invoices against the internal reservation system records including the dispute resolution processes.
Further in charge of maintaining a clean AP ledger and preparing the bi-monthly payment runs to our suppliers in time.
This role is the main contact person for the suppliers, and internal departments (supplier relations) regarding processing and reconciling supplier invoices as such close interaction with external suppliers and internal supplier relation and operations departments are required.
Active participation in monthly closing tasks relating to the AP area (cost of goods sold) as well as control of risks relating to breakage by controlling open and not invoiced bookings.

High level of numeracy and PC literacy (including comprehensive Excel knowledge).

Experience and Qualifications:
Some experience in applicable field of finance and/or commercial and/or industry ideal
Part qualified or working towards a professional accounting qualification
