You do not have to relocate to join us!****The position**:This is an exciting time to join Remote and make a personal difference in the global employment space as an **Event Marketing Manager** for **AMER** as we aim to drive brand awareness in the region*As our Regional Event Marketing Manager, AMER you’ll work closely with the Senior Manager of events to define the AMER portion of the Global event strategy collaborating closely with the AMER-based Sr. Regional Marketing Manager, AMER sales, and AMER partner and partner marketing teams. You will be responsible for delivery of agreed events in partnership with the regional agency, and you will have the opportunity to own and drive regional event program(s). This includes the reporting of regional event performance on a regular basis.You will establish close working relationships with marketing team members, key internal spokespeople, external thought leaders and VIP community members and customers to create compelling event opportunities.**What you bring**:- **A team player attitude, someones who** align cross-functional priorities, while collaborating with others to execute phenomenal events.- **A logistics nerd mindset who** pays attention to detail, has strong organization skills, and prioritizes driving outcomes.- **A great communicator who** understands the value of integrated event messaging, and finds creative ways to reach our target audience.- 5+ years of relevant work experience in event marketing, for both digital and in-person events.- Experience in both 3rd party (tradeshow) and proprietary (user conference, internal company kickoffs) event planning and management.- Strong writing and communication skills for multiple, diverse audiences.- Excellent prioritization and project management skills with a high degree of conscientiousness and eye for detail.- Skills at managing relationships at all levels of seniority, from executives at large enterprises to your peers at Remote.- A focus on driving outcomes.- Experience with Hubspot customer segmentation and the marketing platform is a plus.- Passion for remote work and a global outlook strongly preferred.**What this job can offer**:- The opportunity to research AMER key industry events and programs (e.G. third party events, start up ecosystems and events, and community gatherings) and contribute to a yearly roadmap of events to sponsor and host with corresponding budget in close collaboration with regional field marketing based on regional marketing-owned AMER strategy ; responsibilities include but not limited to:- A key-city specific prioritisation and event delivery ownership split between field marketing and event marketing.- Creating and delivering a high-volume, hosted event series (e.G.
