Full Stack Software Engineer, Technical Referent Coderio designs and delivers scalable digital solutions for general businesses. Our teams lead complex software projects from architecture to execution.
In this role, you’ll lead the design and development of scalable solutions for high-performance platforms. Acting as a technical referent, you’ll drive architectural decisions, mentor engineers, and ensure the delivery of high-quality, production-ready software that supports global operations.
Residing in Spain and open to an independent contractor (freelance) engagement is mandatory.
What to Expect in This Role + Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain scalable full stack applications using Java or Golang and modern frontend frameworks
Lead architecture and system design decisions to ensure performance, maintainability, and scalability
Administer and optimize AWS resources, automations, and internal platforms supporting the engineering organization
Promote best coding practices through code reviews, mentorship, and collaboration with cross-functional teams
Continuously identify and implement technical improvements to enhance efficiency and reliability
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
5+ years of professional experience as a Full Stack Software Engineer
Strong experience with Java or Golang for backend development
Proficiency with JavaScript and modern frontend frameworks (e.g., React)
Hands-on experience working with cloud environments (especially AWS)
Solid understanding of object-oriented design principles and design patterns
Proven ability to deliver clean, maintainable, and efficient code
Experience designing and supporting event-driven architectures
Strong problem-solving and project management skills
Excellent communication skills in English
Collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively in distributed teams
Nice to Have
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins)
Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation)
Background in platform engineering, automation, or internal tooling
Exposure to observability and monitoring tools
Interest in optimizing engineering workflows and system performance
