At ICONO, a company with 25 years of experience in educational technology, we're looking for a motivated and service-oriented IT Technician to join our Operations team. In this role, you'll help keep IT systems in educational centers running smoothly, providing hands-on support and making sure users have a reliable and positive experience with their technology.
What does a day as onsite IT Technician look like?
· You carry out preventive and corrective maintenance on IT equipment (computers, laptops, printers, projectors, etc.).
· Provide on-site technical support to staff in educational centers.
· Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and basic network issues.
· Install and configure new equipment or relocate existing devices when needed.
· Keep clear records of interventions and maintenance tasks.
· Check that systems and devices are working properly after each intervention.
Who are we looking for?
· Vocational or higher degree in Computer Science or a related field.
· Previous experience in onsite IT support or maintenance.
· Basic understanding of networking (cabling, switches, access points).
· Good working knowledge of Windows (7, 10, 11) and Microsoft 365.
· You have a valid driving license (Category B).
· You own a vehicle to travel between different centers.
Preferred Qualifications
· Experience in educational environments or public administration.
· Familiarity with Google Workspace and/or Microsoft 365 environments.
· Knowledge of servers, Active Directory, backup systems, and basic cybersecurity.
· Comfortable working independently and taking initiative.
· Strong communication skills and a helpful, service-oriented approach.
