Our small Finance team maintains strong connections across departments, providing ample opportunities to learn and grow rapidly. What you'll be doing You will work closely with the Head of Finance and contribute to key areas such as: Monthly closing procedures, collaborating with accounting, tax advisory, and billing teams. Managing tax compliance, including VAT (SII) and Retention, with support from tax advisors. Contributing to the Annual Statutory Audit, Grants acquisition, and Due Diligence processes. Supporting finance projects related to Shakers' international expansion from 2025. Managing accounts receivable and payable, resolving billing discrepancies, and supporting external customer platforms. Ensuring timely collection of invoices and accuracy of bookings. Working with the billing team on transactional bookings and performing analytical comparisons of Actuals vs Forecast. 3. What we're looking for Ideal candidates will have: 1-2 years of experience in audit firms, especially Big 4, or in a marketplace/SaaS startup. A degree in Finance or Accounting. Interest and knowledge of the startup ecosystem. Excellent communication skills for building relationships internally and externally. Familiarity with KPIs, dashboards, analytics, and a data-driven approach. Proactivity and ownership of responsibilities. High proficiency in English, both spoken and written. 4. What's in it for you?
