Tradebe’s Fawley facility is a key site for hazardous waste incineration, ensuring safe, compliant, and efficient treatment of complex waste streams while contributing to environmental protection and resource recovery.
Join Tradebe as a Plant Engineer and play a key role in optimising industrial hazardous waste incineration processes. Starting with a 12-month assignment in Barcelona, you will gain deep technical knowledge before transitioning to our Fawley site, acting as a key link between Global and UK operations.
Gain in-depth knowledge of hazardous waste treatment technologies (biological, chemical, and physical) during your initial assignment in Barcelona
• Collaborate with operations and process teams to understand control systems, monitoring methods, and optimisation techniques
• Transfer knowledge and best practices from Global sites to the UK facility
• Optimise plant processes to ensure safety, compliance, and operational efficiency
• Lead troubleshooting and root cause analysis to resolve technical issues
• Support engineering projects, including commissioning, testing, and implementation of new equipment
• Contribute to investment projects, working closely with the Engineering Manager in Fawley
• Monitor KPIs and drive continuous improvement across performance, cost, and environmental impact
Master’s degree in Chemical or General Engineering
• 5+ years of experience in chemical, environmental, or process engineering industries
• Strong understanding of plant operations, process optimisation, and control systems (incineration knowledge is a plus)
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills in multicultural environments
• Project Management according to the British interpretation (PRINCE2 or similar frameworks)
