Running The Business
Customer outcome
* Connect with our customers as per contractual delivery promises (DP1 / 3 and 10) in coordination with Ocean / Feeder fulfillment teams, Area CX & Delivery, GSP, and Terminals.
* Provide alternatives to minimize customer impact if connections are not made as planned.
* Ensure successful delivery of Value Added Services (VAS) with terminal operators.
* Follow up on customer campaigns and seasonality in close contact with Areas and Fulfillment teams.
Operational excellence
* Coordinate execution planning (2-4 weeks ahead) with all teams to ensure customer outcomes and asset capabilities are secured.
* Lead and execute vessel game plans (0-72 hours) in coordination with Area CX and Fulfillment.
* Review and track real-time progress against the plan, driving stakeholders towards common outcomes.
* Ensure asset turnaround and connections meet specifications, contributing to network reliability. Investigate deviations and implement measures to prevent recurrence.
* Minimize idle time waste in collaboration with Hub terminals, driving actions to meet Maersk standards of excellence.
* Coordinate with fulfillment teams to maintain export, transit, and import dwells, including Flex-Hub and longstanding units. Manage cargo progression and recovery actions.
* Participate in crisis management during port disruptions, strikes, or incidents, supporting local crisis teams with stakeholders like agents and authorities.
* Engage with vendors and terminals, including marine services and port authorities, to ensure performance.
* Minimize dwell and longstanding units for optimal yard operations.
Improving The Business
* Resolve customer pain points related to delivery touchpoints in collaboration with relevant teams.
* Drive cost improvement initiatives, including reducing behavioral costs.
