Description
We are seeking a launch supply chain analyst responsible for procurement activities for new launch models and Mercedes after sales.
As a supply chain analyst, you will serve as a central contact point for various supply chain activities, actively guiding your responsible suppliers to ensure the constant availability of spare parts for the global Mercedes-Benz after-sales network.
Your main responsibilities will include:
* Managing all logistics operations, including assets, to ensure timely and cost-effective spare part availability for new launches, considering various influencing factors.
* Ensuring correct master data parametrization for accurate forecasting and order placement.
* Acting as the key account manager for your portfolio of suppliers and internal/external stakeholders.
* Managing critical parts and overseeing risk management and mitigation strategies.
* Initiating and participating in cross-site demand and capacity management meetings.
* Collaborating with senior management and supplier managers during bottleneck situations, including leading escalation meetings.
Qualifications
* University degree in Logistics or Business Administration
* Negotiation skills, especially with suppliers
* At least 2 years of experience in supply chain activities
* Strong conflict resolution and analytical skills
* Resilience and flexibility outside standard processes
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team
* Fluent in Business English (verbal and written); German language skills are a plus
* Proficiency with MS Office and SAP or similar IT systems
* High social competence
