Overview
We are looking for a General Ledger Accountant to join our Finance team in Zaragoza, within the automotive industry. The role focuses on accurate accounting processes, month-end closing, and compliance with local and IFRS standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Month-end and year-end closing activities
* Posting journal entries (accruals, provisions, adjustments)
* Fixed Assets management and balance sheet reconciliations
* Intercompany reconciliations
* Support for audits and statutory reporting
* Ensure compliance with accounting policies and IFRS
* Collaboration with AP, AR and Treasury teams
Requirements
* Degree in Finance/Accounting
* 5 years experience in GL accounting and closing processes
* Knowledge of Spanish GAAP & IFRS
* ERP experience (SAP preferred)
* Strong Excel and analytical skills
* Fluent English is a must
