Position: Quality System Engineer
As part of the
Quality Management Department, you will be responsible for ensuring that the company’s management systems (especially those related to quality and automotive standards) operate correctly, stay updated, and continuously improve.
You will work closely with different departments in Spain and with international teams, including auditors, customers, suppliers, and system coordinators.
What You Will Do
Audit Management & System Review (30%)
Lead the planning and execution of
internal and external audits
of the company’s management system.
Coordinate with auditors, departments, and system owners.
Ensure all findings are properly documented, followed up, and closed on time.
Support management reviews with data, reports, and improvement proposals.
System Maintenance & Continuous Improvement (20%)
Maintain the company’s
integrated management system
(quality, environment, safety, etc.).
Ensure processes are updated, standardized, and aligned with IATF 16949 and other requirements.
Identify improvement opportunities and drive optimization initiatives.
System Integration & New Implementations (30%)
Lead the
integration of multiple management systems
into a unified structure.
Support the creation and rollout of
new systems
for new facilities or new standards.
Coordinate with system coordinators and cross‑functional teams to ensure smooth implementation.
Team Coordination & Issue Management (10%)
Oversee the activities of the
system coordinator team .
Improve the way system-related issues are tracked, analyzed, and resolved.
Ensure proper documentation and communication across departments.
Safety & Compliance (5%)
Follow all safety rules and ensure compliance during system-related activities.
Promote safe practices within the quality system processes.
Departmental Support (5%)
Support additional tasks assigned by the Quality Management Department.
What We’re Looking For
Experience in quality systems, ideally within the automotive industry (IATF 16949, VDA 6.3, APQP, PPAP, FMEA, etc.).
Ability to
analyze processes, identify gaps, and propose improvements .
Strong skills in
problem‑solving methodologies
(5 Why, 8D) and audit preparation/response.
Understanding of
management system implementation, integration, and continuous improvement.
Strong coordination and communication skills to work with
multiple departments, auditors, customers, and suppliers .
Bachelor’s degree in
Engineering, Quality, Industrial Management, or a related field.
English required
(daily communication); Spanish strongly preferred.
Experience working in
multinational or multicultural environments
