The project!
As General Ledger Accountant you will be responsible for the preparation and reporting of the financial statements of the respective companies.
What will the role entail?
- Sales & Margin: Ensure that business margins are correct and optimal by carrying out the following tasks: validation of monthly sales and margins integrated into the system, and closing of purchases/retail (stock in transit, receipt of partial deliveries, and returns).
- Online Business Reconciliation and Review.
- Payroll: Posting and review of the monthly payroll entry, cost analysis, and control of provisions.
- Intercompany Reconciliation: Posting of provisions and intercompany invoices, as well as monthly reconciliation.
- Execution of monthly transactions and posting of recurring entries: amortization, revaluation, and others.
- Review and validation of expenses and income recorded in the P&L; to ensure that accounting records are accurate and reliable.
- Tax Management: Posting and management of VAT returns and other tax declarations.
- Preparation of monthly Management Accounts.
- Management of the annual accounting close and support during audit processes.

Requirements
- 1-2 years of experience in a General Ledger role.
- Bachelor's Degree or higher in Business Administration, Economics or similar.
- High knowledge of Microsoft Office Package (Excel) and SAP
- Fluent Spanish and Advanced (min. B2-C1) English. French will be valued.
