Join us as a Technical Sales Specialist focused on High Voltage Grid Stabilization at Siemens Energy in Spain!
In this dynamic role, you will navigate the exciting challenges of the energy transition, engaging with customers daily to discuss new projects, draft offers, and conduct negotiations both over the phone and on-site.
Your work will take you to customer locations, our Madrid office, or even your home, as you strive to grow the opportunity pipeline and secure orders for innovative solutions like Static Synchronous Compensators and Frequency Stabilizing Statcoms.
Collaborating closely with the Grid Technology team, you will play a crucial role in supporting our customers through their energy transition journey.
How You’ll Make an Impact
1. Business Development Ownership: Lead the business development, sales, and tender processes from opportunity identification through to project handover, ensuring accurate and compliant proposals.
2. Strategic Solutions: Define bid/win strategies and develop tailored technical solutions that meet customer needs.
3. Customer Engagement: Manage project bid clarifications and negotiations, establishing and nurturing partnerships with key customers.
4. Process Compliance: Ensure that all sales and tendering processes align with Siemens Energy standards, maintaining ethical practices throughout.
5. Stakeholder Collaboration: Work effectively with customers, suppliers, and internal teams, facilitating clear communication and coordination during the quoting process.
What You Bring
6. Educational Background: A degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
7. 6 years or more of experience in FACTS solutions, with a strong understanding of market dynamics and customer business drivers.
8. Customer Focus: Willingness to conduct regular customer visits and engage with clients effectively.
9. Bilingual Communication: Proficient in both English and Spanish, with the ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams and influence collaboration.
10. Organizational Skills: Disciplined in planning and structuring resources, with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
11. Team Player: Ability to communicate across various levels and foster a collaborative team environment.
12. Technical Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Office and capable of working accurately and independently.
