The Controls Deployment Coordinators (CDC) position is part of a highly creative and driven team dedicated to deploying our continuously evolving Amazon data center facilities. As a CDC, you will provide contract support, procurement and financial guidance to the project delivery team, ensuring cost management and analysis across a portfolio of fast‑paced projects. Success is measured by our ability to deliver possible outcomes through innovative design and deployment.
Responsibilities
* Provide capital appropriation request (CAR) inputs to Construction Technical Program Managers (TPMs) based on awarded or previously awarded designs and systems.
* Provide operational planning (OP1/2) inputs to Finance Managers against historic work.
* Compile and submit work order and change order requests, ensuring correct technical documents are included for the Legal team to draft contracts.
* Submit purchase requests with necessary funding and vendor information to generate purchase orders required to complete work.
* Manage Supervisory Controls and Direct Automation (SCADA) rack forecasts and ordering.
* Actively partner with Controls Engineers, Controls Managers, Finance, Legal, and Procurement to complete key deliverables.
* Apply critical thinking to make quality judgments that drive results.
* Effectively communicate to multiple stakeholders on a global level.
Basic Qualifications
* 3+ years of vendor management experience.
* 4+ years of relevant work in a data center or other critical environment.
* 5+ years of data center engineering or operations experience.
* 5+ years of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, and Excel) experience.
* Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
* Experience in vendor management, data center or other critical environment, and data center engineering or operations.
* Experience with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, and Excel).
Preferred Qualifications
* 3+ years of construction or project management experience.
* Electrical or mechanical Journeyman license.
* Operating engineering license such as DC II, DC III, or equivalent.
* Experience in construction or project management.
