Are you energised by building long‑term partnerships and turning insight into tangible growth? As our Arthroscopic Enabling Technologies Business Development Specialist for Madrid and the surrounding area, you will be out in the field most days, working closely with hospitals, clinics and key decision makers, with occasional national travel across Spain. In this role you will shape commercial strategy, bring innovative solutions to customers and help us improve patients’ lives every day.
Responsibilities
* Own the development of your business area, immersing yourself in the territory and getting to know institutions, influencers and decision makers at every level.
* Build trust through honest, consultative conversations to identify new opportunities and shape strategies that strengthen our market position and support our financial goals.
* Plan and analyse your customer base, generate and qualify leads, and adapt our value proposition to each target account.
* Arrange visits, explore customer needs, deliver impactful product and technical presentations, and prepare compelling commercial proposals.
* Negotiate, follow up and guide projects through to a successful close, often managing several complex initiatives at the same time.
* Act as a product specialist for assigned business areas, supporting the wider sales team with complex product or institutional presentations.
* Contribute to product portfolio strategy, market studies and marketing actions alongside the Business Development Manager.
* Help organise and attend national and international congresses, support medical education activities and play a key role in training the sales network.
Qualifications
* Experience within the medical devices industry, ideally with capital sales or sports medicine.
* A strong track record in developing new business, identifying decision makers, managing leads and steering complex commercial projects from first contact through to long‑term account development.
* Excellent communication and relationship building skills.
* Collaborative mindset, initiative and a real focus on service quality.
* Ability to travel as required and a valid driving licence.
* Good English skills to operate confidently in our international environment.
