Reporting to the Senior Manager – Sales Europe, the Business Development Manager - Solar Energy will play a key role in expanding our solar energy footprint across European markets. You'll support the sales team in identifying new opportunities, nurturing client relationships, and helping drive strategic growth initiatives. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated individual looking to build a career in clean energy and international business development.

This position is part of the Solar Energy Sales Team and will be remote from Spain, Germany, France or The Netherlands

In this role, a typical day will look like:

* Assist in identifying and qualifying new business opportunities in the solar energy sector across Europe

* Support the development of proposals, presentations, and client pitches

* Conduct market research and competitor analysis to inform strategic decisions

* Maintain and update CRM systems with client interactions and pipeline data

* Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, marketing, and finance

* Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to represent the company

* Help manage client relationships and ensure high levels of satisfaction and engagement

The essential requirements of the job include:

* Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Environmental Science, or related field

* Min. 1–2 years of experience in sales, business development, or renewable energy

* Passion for sustainability and the solar energy industry

* Fluent in English; additional European languages are a plus
