The Opportunity
We are seeking a Manufacturing Process Engineer to join our industrialisation and operations team, supporting the transition from product design to stable, high-quality series manufacturing.
In this role, you will act as a key technical interface between R&D, Quality, and Production, ensuring robust process definition, optimization, and continuous improvement in medium to high automation environments.
This role gives you strong ownership, international collaboration, and the chance to directly impact product quality, cost efficiency, and operations.
La siguiente información tiene como objetivo proporcionar a los posibles candidatos una mejor comprensión de los requisitos para este puesto.
How You'll Make an Impact
* Define, develop, and industrialise manufacturing processes in collaboration with contract manufacturers and production teams.
* Lead seamless product transfers from R&D to series production, including NPI activities and engineering changes.
* Create and maintain key industrial documentation (work instructions, routings, PFMEA, control plans, QCPs).
* Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing methodologies.
* Support structured problem‐solving activities (8D, 5 Whys, FMEA, root cause analysis) in close partnership with Quality.
* Provide on‐site technical support to ensure process stability, maintain product quality, and identify cost‐reduction opportunities (VA/VE initiatives).
Your Background
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or a related field.
* 5–7 years of experience in manufacturing or process engineering within industries involving medium to high automation (automotive, aerospace, electronics, rail, etc.).
* Strong command of quality and industrialisation tools (FMEA, 8D, SPC, control plans).
* Proven experience designing and optimising production line layouts from concept through implementation.
* Knowledge of SolidWorks and AutoCAD; familiarity with EPLAN, SAP, or MES systems is a plus.
