For our Madrid office we are seeking an experienced Product and Supply Chain Specialist to support our plans to expand our footprint in the Wind Aftermarket. This role requires a professional who is not only a strategic planner but also a hands-on doer, responsible for both ensuring we are ready to support newer turbine platforms and assisting our Sales Managers with complex and large requests.
Job Responsibilities:
The Product and Supply Chain Specialist will be instrumental in expanding our support for new wind turbine models and ensuring the competitiveness of our product portfolio.
Key responsibilities include:
- Platform Development: Follow the process for platform development, identifying relevant components, manufacturers, and suppliers for new wind turbine models.
- Sales Support: Partner with the Global Sales team to provide technical expertise in complex and large sales opportunities and ensure insights are captured in our internal systems.
- Supply Chain Optimization: Work closely with the Procurement department, providing technical expertise to develop new supplier networks and ensure availability and competitiveness.
- Market Intelligence: Monitor the wind aftermarket landscape to identify emerging needs for newer fleets and translate these into development, procurement, and sales actions.
- Technical Expertise: Act as the subject matter expert for both internal teams and external clients regarding components, systems, and turbine technology.
Job Requirements:
The adecuado candidate will have a deep technical understanding of the wind energy sector combined with a proactive, entrepreneurial mindset.
Experience:
- A minimum of 3–5 years of professional experience specifically within the wind energy sector is mandatory, preferably in spare parts procurement or aftermarket support. Experience with GE, Gamesa, Vestas, or Siemens turbines is a plus.
- Knowledge: Deep understanding of wind turbine components and the differences between major OEM platforms.
- Analytical Mindset: Comfortable working with large datasets to generate new knowledge and insights that can be leveraged by the organization. Advanced Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required, for example, using complex formulas, Pivot Tables, and Data Modeling. Experience with SQL (joining datasets, basic queries) and Python (pandas, automation scripts) is a significant plus.
