We are partnering with a fast-moving gaming company headquartered in the U.S., with offices in Barcelona, to find a Head of User Acquisition. We’re on the lookout for a sharp, results-oriented leader to take charge of the company's User Acquisition strategy.
As Head of UA, you’ll be at the helm of our growth efforts, scaling a portfolio of ad-monetised, evergreen mobile games. Your focus will be on maximising ROAS, refining UA strategies, and growing a high-performing team. This role is perfect for someone who’s both strategic and hands-on.
What You’ll Be Doing:
* Designing and implementing user acquisition strategies that align with company goals (both quarterly and annual).
* Identifying growth levers to increase UA spend efficiently and profitably.
* Building and mentoring a best-in-class UA team, and creating scalable, effective media buying processes.
* Leading partnerships and business development initiatives, including negotiations with ad networks and platforms.
* Collaborating with engineering to introduce automation tools for campaign management and reporting.
* Partnering with product and monetisation teams to boost ARPU.
* Overseeing the Creative team to ensure their output aligns with UA needs.
* Interpreting performance data to generate actionable insights.
* Keeping an eye on market trends and competitor activity to maintain a competitive edge.
What We’re Looking For:
* 5+ years of experience in mobile user acquisition/media buying.
* A proven ability to scale UA efforts while maintaining strong performance.
* Expertise with digital platforms like Google Ads, CPI networks, DSPs, etc.
* A data-driven mindset with strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
* Comfortable balancing strategic thinking with day-to-day execution.
* Great communication skills and experience working cross-functionally.
* Strong resource management skills, both in team bandwidth and marketing spend.
* Fluency in written and spoken English at a business level.
