Overview We are looking for a Technical support QA&RA trainee to join our rapidly growing in vitro diagnostics company, a leader in the industry for the past 15 years. This is a unique opportunity to gain experience and learn at Sysmex.
The selected candidate will be based in our Barcelona office and will provide support to our QA&RA department in the Iberia region.
What will you do? Coordinate environmental and legal audits, supporting internal departments and external auditors.
Maintain and monitor the Environmental and Quality Management Systems ( ISO 14001 & ISO 9001 ), ensuring accurate documentation, timely action follow-up, and continuous improvement.
Support the implementation of environmental requirements (e.g. waste management, packaging & packaging waste legislation, emergency plans ).
Record and report data on environmental and quality KPIs, including monthly reports to SCORP (Japan company) .
Collaborate on the simplification of quality system documentation and process standardization.
Drive user-friendly improvements in digital platforms (e.g. Ecotrack, TrackWise ).
Support the implementation of ISO 14001 in Sysmex Portugal, aiming for certification in 2025, while continuing to maintain and comply with ISO 9001 requirements.
Ensure all regulatory and quality data is well documented, communicated and up to date.
What you need to be successful: University degree or postgraduate studies in Environmental Sciences, Life Sciences, Engineering, or a related field.
Good understanding of ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 requirements and implementation, preferably within the distribution or healthcare sector .
English : fluent, both written and spoken.
Strong digital mindset : you will act as the internal trainer ("go-to person") for your colleagues regarding digital tools such as Ecotrack, TrackWise, or similar platforms.
Ability to structure, manage and communicate documentation and processes effectively in a digital environment.
