About The Role
As a Nondestructive Test (NDT) Analyst you will form part of the NDT Technology group and apply ultrasonic techniques for inspection of metallic materials and welds and procedure qualification.
You will report to the NDT Technology Manager and be located at the Madrid headquarters in San Sebastián de los Reyes with a hybrid work schedule (remote and in-office). This is a full-time role.
Key Responsibilities
Apply inspection techniques in the laboratory using ultrasonic testing (UT)Interpret, evaluate, and document the results of the examinations following applicable standards and specificationsParticipate in projects within the nuclear sector, focused on metallic materials and weldsHelp develop new techniques and inspection procedures and review existing techniques to refine processes
Qualifications:
High school graduates/ University degree in science or technical fields (Physics, Materials Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering)2+ years of experience in the inspection of metallic materials and welds and procedure qualificationUT Level II or III certification according to ISO 9712Knowledge of Phased-Array UT or TOFD (preferably certified)Familiarity with NDE modeling software (CIVA, Beam Tool, Ultravision)Familiarity with international UT inspection standards (ASME, ISO, ENIQ, RCC-MR)Ability to travel occasionallyFluent in Spanish and English
