Job Overview:
As part of the Financial Crime Quality Assurance Team, you will undertake reviews across all risk categories and client types, focusing on High-Risk clients. You will ensure client due diligence and enhanced due diligence measures comply with legal, regulatory, and internal policies. Responsibilities include quality assurance activities across transaction monitoring, ongoing screening, and payment screening, reviewing alerts, investigations, and discounts as per policies.
You may also provide training to the Onboarding and Screening teams on areas with repeated issues.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct periodic level 3 independent QA checks on new clients one month post-onboarding, reviewing client files from an AML/Financial Crime perspective for all risk levels.
* Perform QA on Reassessment client files, reviewing KYC updates.
* Review Screening team resolution comments on hits, ensuring proper screening of relevant parties.
* Review Transaction Monitoring team resolution comments on alerts, ensuring risks are mitigated or escalated.
* Review Payment Screening team resolution comments on hits.
* Conduct deep dives and thematic reviews.
* Manage and provide staff feedback.
* Track remedial actions.
* Ensure sufficient files are reviewed to meet monthly targets.
* Hold calibration forums with the 1st line QC team.
* Collaborate with Onboarding and Screening Teams for training and compliance issues.
* Maintain communication with relevant teams and liaise with Reassessment Team for KYC refresh reviews.
* Assist the wider Compliance team in achieving global deliverables.
