To ensure the efficiency of Serrala's Business Application landscape and support the overarching business strategy by gatekeeping the application and data architecture. The Automation & Integration Expert owns the integration solution landscape and governs interface and automation tools (e.G., RPA bots) to reduce manual efforts, mitigate errors, and boost productivity across departments.Your Day to Day:
Enterprise Integration & Automation Solutions- Hands-on development and deployment of robust integration solutions and automation across key enterprise systems, primarily focusing on Salesforce CRM and SAP applications (S/4HANA, SAP Subscription Billing, SAP Concur), as well as legacy on-premise systems, third-party SaaS platforms, and industry-specific tools.- Build, test, and maintain API-based integrations to enable seamless data exchange between Salesforce, SAP S/4HANA Cloud, SuccessFactors, and other business-critical applications.- Develop and implement future-proof integration frameworks using MuleSoft, SAP BTP, REST/SOAP APIs, and event-driven frame works to ensure scalability and maintainability.- Strong hands-on development experience in DataWeave and RAML, enabling effective data transformations to build Robust APIs.- Implementation experience with complex, multi-system workflows such as Lead-to-Cash, Quote-to-Subscription, and Billing-to-Revenue Recognition, helping bridge data silos and eliminate manual handoffs.- Build intelligent automation pipelines incorporating AI/ML models for document processing, smart decision routing, predictive data validation, and advanced data mappings.Process Flow Optimization & Best Practice Leadership- Analyze current-state business and technical processes across departments including Sales, Finance, and Support to define optimized integration and automation strategies.- Champion best practices in integration development, emphasizing API-first design, reusability, modular architecture, version control, and structured exception handling (Integration monitoring)- Spearhead AI-infused optimizations for repetitive or error-prone processes such as quote validation, data anomaly detection, and intelligent exception handling.Cross-Functional Collaboration & Lifecycle Support- Collaborate with stakeholders across IT, HR, Finance, Operations, and external vendors to transform business challenges into scalable and sustainable integration solutions.- Take ownership of Change requests, enhancement initiatives, and Developments with production support efforts, ensuring a balanced approach between rapid delivery and long-term stability.- Work closely on DevOps to deploy integration components through CI/CD pipelines, ensuring zero-downtime releases and traceable deployments. (Gear Set, Gitlab).Governance, Documentation & Continuous Improvement- Define and enforce Enterprise integration standards, ensuring GDPR, SOX, and other regulatory compliance.- Continuously monitor integration health using logs, alerts, and analytics, and apply iterative improvements based on performance metrics and business feedback.What makes you excel in this position:
Education & Experience- Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or practical knowledge.- At least 5 years of experience in automation, system integration, or process engineering.- Proven experience developing and deploying enterprise-grade automation and integration solutions.Technical & Integration Skills- Deep understanding of integration patterns and data models for Salesforce CRM, SAP S/4HANA, and SAP Subscription Billing.- Proven ability to integrate legacy systems, modern cloud-native platforms, and various ERP solutions using adapters, connectors, and custom APIs.- Expertise in MuleSoft, SAP BTP, SAP CPI, and event-driven integration patterns leveraging Platform Events, Change Data Capture (CDC), and Apache Kafka.- Advanced skills in REST/SOAP API design, data transformation, and middleware debugging using tools such as Splunk, Postman, Anypoint Monitoring, and platform logs.- Proficient in CI/CD automation using Gearset, Jenkins, GitLab, Azure DevOps, and applying GitOps practices in deployment pipelines.AI & Modernization Skills- Practical experience incorporating AI/ML capabilities within integration pipelines for:
