We are looking fora Hardware Engineer to join an important Project located in Madrid
- Availability to join a stable project in Madrid.
- Work-life balance: full-time Monday to Thursday, early Fridays, and reduced working hours throughout the summer.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in hardware design, preferably in aerospace, defense, or high-reliability sectors.
- Document management using SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
- Knowledge of CATIA and 3D printing.
- Experience with task management tools.
- Version control and document repository management.
What will your responsibilities be?
- Advanced mechanical design using SolidWorks (primary tool) for 3D modelling, complex assemblies and detailed technical drawings of communication and navigation systems.
- Mechanical design and integration of electronic and communication systems, including enclosures, structures, mounts, cabling and fixation elements for aerospace or defense environments.
- Participation across the full product lifecycle, from requirements definition to design, development, integration, validation and delivery.
- Definition of mechanical architectures optimized for thermal management, structural integrity and environmental resistance.
- Execution of mechanical analyses (structural, vibration, thermal) to ensure robustness and reliability under demanding operating conditions.
- Preparation of complete technical documentation, including drawings, BOMs, specifications, and certification-related deliverables.
- Technical review of designs and deliverables, ensuring quality standards in high-criticality projects.
