FUNCTION OF THE JOB:
The primary responsibility is to liaise with students, while in close contact with fellow staff and the Campus Manager filling the needs of pastoral care and organise outside visits and guest speakers.
DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Act as Welfare Officer;
* Liaise with agencies and housing providers to arrange accommodation for students;
* Manage and maintain student files, ensuring that all relevant statutory documentation is contained therein and that such files are kept in excellent order to meet the demands of internal and external inspection;
* Compose and issue, with authorisation of the campus Manager all letters required from time to time by the students (i.E. to open a bank account, council tax letters etc);
* Coordinate social activities;
* Organise company visits;
* Arrange with the Academic Coordinator guest speakers, according to the courses offered and the students' requests;
* Supervise the creation and issuing of student cards;
* Ensure at the beginning of the term that each student has located all needed service providers for health and well-being;
* Keep the school's social media platforms up-to-date;
* Perform periodic checks of stationary and other supplies, assuring there is always sufficient supply available for staff and students;
* Coordinate students' activities with Campus Managers and Academic Coordinator;
* Carry out otherappropriate duties, as requested by Campus Managers.
