What do we do?

ABOUT THE JOB
Nickel is seeking a Marketing and Communications Director to join the local team based in Madrid.
The Marketing and Communications Director will report directly to the CEO Nickel Spain.
Main role responsibilities will focus on helping us build and maintain a strong and consistent brand through all channels in Spain.
To be successful in this role, you should have hands-on experience on PR, managing online and offline campaigns, tracking and analyzing performance, ensuring that all marketing materials are in line with our brand identity and respecting the budget.

MISSION
Working closely with both local and corporate (France based) business teams, the purpose of this position is to design and implement an efficient branding, communication and marketing strategy in order to reach business goals, acquiring new customers at a competitive cost.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Define and execute the 360o communication & marketing strategy and development plan for Nickel Spain: digital, offline, PR, social networks
Define and execute annual communication plan for both clients and points of sale
Perform regular marketing analysis and research in order to adapt our strategy and positioning to the spanish market
Select and manage local agencies (especially on branding, media & PR)
Build a strong, leading and aspirational local brand being coherent with Nickel overall positioning
Train and manage the local marketing & communication team in order to ensure the quality of their work, motivation, well-being and adhesion to Nickel’s values and mission
Manage and steer the marketing budget
Ensure the respect of procedures, and a correct management of risks and compliance related topics, especially the ones related to Advertising Regulation and AML & TF
Ensure proper optimization of mobilized resources
As a Codir permanent member, contribute to the definition and implementation of local strategy, local policies and initiatives, with a cross functional mindset
REQUIREMENTS
At least 5 years of experience working in a similar role together with the potential and attitude required to learn and grow in the company
Bachelor's degree in business, marketing or relevant field of study
Mandatory proficient in English and Spanish, both spoken and written
Advanced oral and written communication skills with an innate attention to detail
Ability to work independently and autonomously, and to manage time and multiple priorities to execute high quality deliverables
Comfortable working with numbers, making sense of metrics, data-driven decision-making
A sense of aesthetics and a love for great copy and witty communication
Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing and measurement
Proven experience on managing online and offline campaigns as well as PR plans
Proficiency in French will be much appreciated
