Following a series of newly awarded projects, we are expanding our team with a Project Manager who thrives at the intersection of research innovation, business, and marketing. In this role, you will lead the delivery of Horizon Europe projects and play a central part in shaping our next wave of grants. brThe ideal candidate brings solid experience in Dissemination, Communication Exploitation within Horizon Europe, a hands-on approach to proposal writing, and a genuine enthusiasm for turning breakthrough science into real-world impact. brKey Responsibilities brManage and implement 2–3 projects funded under Horizon Europe, ensuring delivery against scope, timeline, and budget. brLead work packages, tasks, and deliverables focused on Dissemination, Communication, and Exploitation. brCoordinate internal and external project resources, keeping all parties aligned on requirements, deadlines, and milestones. brMonitor and report on project activities, results, and resource allocation, ensuring transparency and accountability. brRepresent the team at meetings across Europe as required. brContribute to the preparation of new Horizon Europe grants, including concept development, partner scouting, and drafting. brBuild synergies and business opportunities within the European R D ecosystem. Required Skills and Experience brMinimum 5 years of experience with European funding programmes (particularly Horizon Europe). Strong focus on Dissemination, Communication, and Exploitation activities. brProven track record in Horizon Europe proposal writing. brBachelor's degree or higher in science, engineering, marketing, or business — or equivalent professional experience. brExcellent project management and presentation skills. brOutstanding written and verbal communication skills in English. brStrong problem-solving abilities and sound judgement in decision-making. brRigorous attention to deadlines and budgetary guidelines. Preferred Skills brExperience developing Exploitation strategies and mentoring colleagues in this area. brCreative, proactive thinking with a genuine interest in research and innovation. brInterest in continuous learning and professional growth. brStrong storytelling skills, with the ability to translate complex science into compelling narratives for proposals and dissemination activities. brProficiency in additional European languages (Spanish, French, German, or Italian) is a plus. What We Offer brThis is a full-time, fully remote freelance position based on a 5-day working week. The rate ranges from €240-325/day (estimated annual gross income of €55,000-75,000, depending on experience).
