Overview
We are seeking a Business analyst with strong analytical and project management skills to bridge the gap between technology and business needs. This role combines software development expertise with responsibilities in risk assessment, project coordination, and business analysis. You will work closely with stakeholders to understand requirements, assess technical and operational risks, and ensure successful delivery of projects. The ideal candidate is detail‑oriented, proactive, and comfortable managing both technical tasks and business processes.
Key Responsibilities
* Perform risk assessments on technical solutions, identifying potential vulnerabilities and compliance issues.
* Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements, translating them into actionable technical specifications.
* Support project management activities, including planning, tracking, and reporting progress.
* Document workflows, processes, and technical solutions for transparency and compliance.
* Conduct impact analysis for new features or changes, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
* Assist in quality assurance and testing activities to validate deliverables.
* Work with cross‑functional teams (product, QA, operations) to ensure timely and successful project delivery.
* Participate in governance and compliance reviews, ensuring adherence to internal and external standards.
* Participate in design reviews, provide constructive feedback, and advocate for best UX practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications
* 3–5 years of experience in software development with exposure to business analysis and project management.
* Strong understanding of risk assessment methodologies and compliance frameworks.
* Experience with project management tools (e.g., Jira) and agile methodologies.
* Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills with attention to detail.
* Strong communication skills for stakeholder engagement and documentation.
* High level of English, spoken and written.
Preferred / Optional Qualifications
* Familiarity with financial services or regulated environments.
* Experience in modern programming languages (e.g., JavaScript/TypeScript, Python) and web technologies.
* Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
* Certification in Project Management (PMP, Scrum) or Risk Management (a plus).
* Understanding of cybersecurity principles and risk mitigation strategies.
Soft Skills
* Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
* Ability to work effectively in cross‑functional and international teams.
* Proactive, detail‑oriented, and able to manage tasks independently.
