Mativ is seeking an experienced Global Category Manager – Specialty Paper to join our Global Team.
This is a strategic, high-visibility role responsible for leading global sourcing initiatives across key specialty paper categories, including Clay Coated Kraft, Poly-coated Paper, Glassine and SCK Papers.
You will play a critical role in driving cost optimisation, supply risk mitigation, and supplier performance across international markets.
The Role
Reporting Into The Sourcing Director, You Will
Develop and execute global category strategies aligned to business priorities
Lead complex sourcing and negotiation activities to deliver measurable cost savings
Conduct market, spend and risk analysis to optimise total cost of ownership
Partner with senior stakeholders across functions and regions
Manage supplier performance, contracts, SLAs and KPIs
Drive continuous improvement and change initiatives across the supply base
Deliver data-driven insights to support strategic decision-making
About You
7+ years' experience in strategic sourcing or procurement
Strong background in global specialty paper sourcing
Demonstrable success in delivering cost savings and value creation
Experience influencing senior stakeholders in a matrix organisation
Strong analytical capability and commercial acumen
Degree educated (MBA advantageous)
Fluent English (Spanish beneficial)
Experience with ERP systems (Infor LN or similar preferred)
You will be commercially driven, confident in negotiations, and comfortable operating in a global, fast-paced environment.
