Senior Account Manager Spain to support Power Transmission Grid Solutions KAM activities in Spain and to grow Data Centre Business within South Region.
Job Description
Responsabilities:
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring their needs are met and identifying opportunities for growth.
* To build, quickly, trust relationships with key-customer people, including in C-level, addressing properly value for opportunities stakeholders.
* Act as a strategic advisor to clients, understanding their electrification and decarbonization goals and aligning PT solutions to meet their business objectives.
* To Identify, develop, and establish strategies aligned with the GEV Electrification Business and PT SE strategic objectives.
* To map customer stakeholders' structure, identifying decision makers, people influence map. To manage promoters and detractors and define relationship strategy to guarantee advantage business positioning.
* Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities within existing accounts and lead commercial negotiations.
* Conduct thorough market analysis to identify new business opportunities and expand the client base.
* To develop, structure and deploy sales plan, for the covered market region and/or segment to maximize business results, in terms of volume and profitability
* To Identify, evaluate, support and develop strategic alliances & partnerships for the project's cost efficient and profitable development of business opportunities.
* Track and report on account performance and pipeline using Salesforce CRM providing strategic insights and recommendations for improvement.
* Lead the end-to-end account management process—from onboarding to renewals—ensuring a seamless and engaging customer experience.
* Support "Commercial Operations Team" in all contract negotiations, maximizing commercial negotiation conditions, risks mitigations and full governance are defined in the contractual documents.
* Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences across Southern Europe.
* Stay up to date on market trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies in the electrification and sustainability space.
Specific Responsibilities for Data Center Business:
* Develop and implement go to market and growth account strategies for the data centre business regionally and aligned with GE VERNOVA Grid Solutions Power Transmission commercial objectives and market dynamics.
* Align with all GE Vernova stake holder to get a consolidated view and a common vision to promote GE Vernova portfolio solutions.
* Gather, analyse and report market intelligence, covering customer trends, competitors, and technology to identify new grow opportunities
* Develop and manage key customer relations with all Data Centres actors including colocation, hyperscalers, engineering and integrators, becoming the trusted partner to supply GE Vernova PT products and solutions.
* Build and maintain strong relationships across internal partners (sales, product management, engineering….) and external partners to ensure alignment on strategic priorities.
* Support Product management team to ensure that PT offer is aligned with Data Centre needs.
* Lead T&C's negotiation to reach global agreement.
* Implement account level and regional initiatives in close collaboration of all regional sales team and both direct and indirect channels
Qualifications/Requirements:
* Undergraduate degree in electrical, electromechanical and/or related engineering, or equivalent knowledge or experienc
* Major experience in B2B account management, preferably in Spanish energy market.
* Proven track record of building and growing strong client relationships with C-level stakeholders.
* Fluent in Spanish and English (spoken and written).
* Knowledge of French would be an added value
* High proficiency in Salesforce (or similar CRM platforms).
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to turn complex challenges into clear action plans.
* Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and negotiation skills.
* Wiling to travel more than 50% of the time.
