The Challenge
As a
Growth Product Manager, you'll play a key role in accelerating Wallapop's user growth by owning the strategy and roadmap for acquisition and activation. You'll collaborate with engineers, designers, analysts, and marketing specialists to optimize the user journey from signup to the first three successful transactions. You'll drive product‐led growth through data‐driven experimentation, improving funnel conversion, and aligning closely with our marketing teams across paid and organic channels.
What You Will Do
Own and execute the growth strategy for user acquisition and activation across Wallapop's app and web platforms.
Design, run, and analyze experiments to improve conversion and engagement at every stage of the funnel — from registration to the first transaction.
Collaborate cross‐functionally with engineering, design, data and marketing to deliver impactful growth initiatives.
Partner with the Head of Acquisition to align marketing performance (SEO, SEM, Google Shopping, App Events Optimization) with in‐product experiences that drive activation.
Leverage data and insights to identify friction points in the onboarding and listing/buying flows, then work with your team to address them.
Define and monitor key metrics including activation rate, conversion rate, cost per activated user and repeat transaction rate.
Champion a culture of experimentation, using rapid A/B testing, cohort analysis and iterative product improvements.
Communicate learnings and results across product, marketing and leadership teams to ensure alignment and shared growth goals.
What We're Looking For
5+ years of experience as a
Senior Product Manager, preferably in growth, activation or conversion optimisation roles.
Proven experience driving measurable growth through data‐informed experimentation and funnel optimisation.
Strong analytical mindset with a deep understanding of growth metrics, attribution models and lifecycle funnels.
Experience working with cross‐functional teams — engineers, data scientists, designers and marketers.
Solid understanding of performance marketing and organic channels (SEO, paid search, app campaigns, social) and marketing attribution models.
Excellent communication and storytelling skills; ability to influence and align stakeholders around data‐driven decisions.
Familiarity with A/B testing tools, analytics platforms (Amplitude, Mixpanel, Looker) and experimentation frameworks.
A passion for marketplaces, user behaviour and sustainable consumption.
What Would Be A Plus
Experience in marketplace or e‐commerce environments, especially with supply/demand activation challenges.
Understanding of user segmentation, CRM automation or retention marketing.
Technical background or comfort collaborating closely with engineers.
Do note that all our jobs are Barcelona based. We follow a hybrid model where flexibility rules. We commit to a minimum of six days per month in the office. Each team self‐organises to decide on cadence and in‐person/remote rituals.

– run by relevant stakeholders reflecting the reality of the context of the role, focus on the ability to collaborate & deliver in a cross‐functional set‐up. This usually takes 60 minutes.
