Job Description:
We’re looking for an experienced and motivated
Event Project Director based on Madrid or Barcelona
to take a hands-on role in planning and leading various events including conferences, corporate events, incentives & any type of meeting for international & national clients.

Reporting to the Director of Operations, it’ll be the post holder's responsibility to ensure that all client’s needs are met and exceeded, right through from brief to final delivery.

Responsibilities
Managing multiple events and clients simultaneously
Managing, training and coaching project managers and coordinators
Liaising with NATIONAL and INTERNATIONAL clients to understand event briefs and objectives for events
Taking end-to-end ownership of the event planning and management process
Liaising with sales, creative & art design and production teams to manage and concreate the assets for the event
Ensuring that all events are planned and executed within the agreed budget
Finding and booking suitable event venues, contractors and suppliers in Spain and Internationally
Recruiting, managing and briefing event staff as required, including third-party suppliers
Attending events and managing on-site team, ensuring we exceed the client’s brief
Location & Commitments
Full-time role, with flexible timing and permitted home-office work max 3 days per week
Regular evenings and weekend work to attend events
Based at our Barcelona or Madrid office
Essential Candidate Requirements
Fluent in Spanish and English is a must
At least
10 years of experience in the events industry
as an event planner or manager – freelance experience also considered, most of the experience should be in Spain
Knowledge of KPIs xsgfvud and marketing techniques for event management
Proven results in planning or leading successful and profitable events
Experience of negotiating deals with suppliers and contractors
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills – a true ‘people person’ happy to talk to anyone and everyone
Strong multi-tasker with experience of juggling numerous projects and deadlines and stress control
Creative thinking with high ability on execution
Excellent knowledge of
Spanish market, especially Barcelona and/or Madrid
Desirable
A degree in an events management or planning subject
Team management, with experience in providing training and mentorship to junior-level employees
Any other language is a plus
