To drive commercial performance and strategic growth in the region, they are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Director for the EU region.
Position Summary
The Sales Director – EU Region will be responsible for developing and executing the regional sales strategy, managing key accounts, and leading a high-performing sales team across Europe. This role will report to global leadership and play a critical part in achieving business growth, market expansion, and customer satisfaction. The position is remote, based in Spain, with frequent travel to customer sites and regional offices.
Key Responsibilities
* Define and implement the sales strategy across the EU region to achieve revenue, market share, and profitability goals
* Lead and manage the regional sales team, ensuring strong execution, pipeline development, and performance management
* Build and maintain relationships with key OEMs, Tier 1 suppliers, distributors, and strategic partners
* Identify and develop new business opportunities across both mature and emerging markets in the region
* Collaborate closely with marketing, product management, finance, and operations to align sales efforts with overall business goals
* Monitor market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to adjust strategies as needed
* Drive forecasting, pricing strategy, and contract negotiations
* Provide regular reporting and analysis to senior leadership on sales performance, KPIs, and market intelligence
Qualifications
* 10+ years of sales experience in the automotive sector, with at least 5 years in a regional or leadership role
* Proven track record of driving sales growth and managing large customer accounts in a multi-country setting
* Strong understanding of automotive supply chain dynamics, customer requirements, and regional market differences
* Strategic thinker with hands-on execution capabilities
* Experience in leading and motivating cross-border, multicultural teams
* Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills
* Fluent in English; additional European languages are a plus
* Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field; MBA or equivalent preferred
