The Paid Media Specialist will play a critical role in accelerating customer acquisition, maximizing return on ad spending, and strengthening Plazo Credit's + BNPL product market position through disciplined, data-driven paid media execution. Reporting directly to the PPC Manager in Spain and implementing the operational changes in the accounts.
Account Management Across Paid Media Platforms: Google Ads, Meta (Facebook and Instagram), TikTok, LinkedIn, and other relevant social and search platforms.
Maintain healthy account structures, audience segmentation, bidding strategies, and budget pacing across all active campaigns.
This includes setting up campaign architecture, uploading creatives, writing and testing ad copy, and conducting QA before launch to ensure flawless delivery.
Social Ads Strategy and Optimization: Execution of social advertising as a core acquisition channel, with particular focus on Meta and TikTok. Develop testing frameworks for creative, audiences, and placements, and continuously optimize toward CPA, ROAS, and other KPIs.
Performance Reporting and Insights Build and deliver regular reports (daily, weekly, monthly) covering campaign performance, KPIs, and trends. Translate data into actionable insights and recommendations for stakeholders, highlighting wins, risks, and opportunities for scaling.
Provide performance feedback on creatives and propose new concepts based on what is working in-platform.
Maintain compliance with platform policies and financial services advertising regulations.
Competitive and Market Monitoring Track competitor activity in the fintech space, monitor industry benchmarks, and stay current on platform updates, new ad formats, and emerging channels to keep the paid media strategy ahead of the curve.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with other departments/teams and the growth marketing team to align paid media activity with broader marketing campaigns, product launches, and business objectives.
Hands-on experience managing paid media platforms (Search, Display, YouTube, Performance Max, Meta, Tik Tok...)

-Bachelor's in Marketing, Business Administration or related fields
Experience of 1 to 2 years in Paid Media (ideally in the BNPL industry)
Google Ads and Google Analytics certificate
Analytical skills with proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets
Prior experience advertising BNPL, consumer credit, or fintech products
Knowledge of advertising compliance requirements for financial services
Experience in reporting tools such as Looker Studio, Power BI, or Tableau
