At Agap2, we are looking for a Principal Data Scientist to join a strategic AI initiative in the aerospace sector.
The role involves leading Data Science efforts, driving the development and production deployment of advanced AI solutions, and providing strong technical leadership to high-performing teams. You will work closely with the Chief AI Scientist and collaborate with international stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead the Data Science team and ensure the quality, robustness, and business relevance of all deliverables.
* Design, develop, and deploy scalable AI tools across multiple business domains.
* Translate complex technical concepts into clear insights for non-technical stakeholders.
* Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and business leaders, including international travel when required.
* Stay up to date with state-of-the-art AI methodologies to continuously improve solution effectiveness.
Requirements:
* PhD in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field.
* 10+ years of experience in Data Science/AI with a proven track record leading impactful projects.
* Strong background in machine learning, deep learning, optimisation, and/or generative AI .
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage with senior stakeholders.
* Experience in AI governance, quality assurance, and responsible AI practices .
