Human by nature.**Process Development Specialist, your future role?**
- As a Process Development Specialist, you will:
- Perform in the Industrialization Laboratory the previously designed tests by the Chemist in charge of the Project, contributing with ideas in the design of these tests. - Provide support in the field during pilot runs when necessary.
- Study the implementation of new technologies
**Reporting to Head Of Process Development, you will**:
- Perform tests in the Industrialization Laboratory according to the instructions of the project manager.
- Collaborate in the design of the tests based on previous experience and literature search.
- Monitor and participate in the pilot runs of the processes developed in the Industrialization Laboratory (including sample analysis, documentation management, or active participation in pilot plant operations if required).
- Manage projects for the implementation of new technologies. Familiarity with new technologies available in the market, evaluating their potential implementation in the laboratory or in Production
- Be an expert in Industrialization technologies for the Department, providing training to the rest of the team and other departments if necessary.
- Conduct laboratory studies, when necessary, using these technologies for the Industrialization Department (measurements, evaluation, written communications, conclusions, and recommendations).
- Understand the operation of laboratory equipment, performing daily cleaning and maintenance. Notify Technical Services in case of a breakdown. Be the expert in this equipment and train others.
- Maintenance of laboratory journals and Industrialization files
**Your professional profile includes**:
- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry ( Organic Chemistry specialist)
- High knowledge of micro informatics (Excel, Minitab, Powerpoint, Word, etc.).
- English and Spanish (essential). French (preferred).
- Use of Analytical Laboratory equipment
- Preferred 1 year of experience in a laboratory in the chemical or pharmaceutical industry. Also valuable knowledge in plant operations in the Chemical Industry
