The idóneo candidate should have experience and understand what is required of an independent cook in a kitchen. Responsibilities include preparing lunches and dinners, monitoring stock levels, and ensuring dishes are of the highest quality. A minimum of Intermediate or Upper-intermediate (B1-B2) level of English is required.
Main responsibilities include:
- Experience in cooking and supporting the Chef and other kitchen staff.
- Flexibility and ability to work under pressure at times.
- Prioritize quality in food preparation and hygiene.
- Oversee washing, vegetable preparation, cleaning, and dish preparation, including mise en place.
- Assist the head chef or manage your own section in the kitchen.
Requirements:
- At least an Intermediate or Upper-intermediate (B1-B2) level of English.
- Studies in Gastronomy.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in the gastronomy sector.
What do you get?
- Contract under Dutch collective agreement.
- Salary from €13 to €15.50 gross per hour (+ 21 years old), totaling approximately €2,140 to €2,550 gross per month. Tips: €300 net.

- Accommodation in shared housing, organized by the employer, at a low cost (around €55-€65 per week), close to the workplace.
- At least 2 meals included during work hours.
- Workweeks averaging between 35 and 60 hours, with high season hours exceeding 40 per week.
