Your responsibilities and tasks:
GEA is a major global provider of systems for the food, beverage, and pharmaceutical sectors. Our product range includes machinery, installations, advanced process technology, components, and comprehensive services, all aimed at enhancing sustainability and efficiency worldwide.
We are currently seeking a Project Manager for our Olive Oil Excellence Center located in Úbeda, Spain. This center focuses on the application of olive oil technology using mechanical separation technology, handling offers, commissioning, and maintenance of olive oil projects.
* Manage complete projects for new and second-hand machines at GEA Westfalia Separator Ibérica.
* Act as the main point of contact with clients, sales teams, and factories, overseeing project execution from sale to final delivery.
* Monitor and control orders to ensure timely delivery within budget and quality standards.
* Coordinate resources, make decisions, and resolve issues throughout the project lifecycle.
* Plan and execute project activities.
* Handle procurement of equipment and manage administrative tasks.
* Make decisions based on situational requirements.
* Manage and resolve incidents, maintaining communication with clients until project completion and warranty start.
* Identify potential risks and implement mitigation actions.
* Support the sales team during project proposal phases.
Your profile and qualifications:
Preferred university degree in a technical field such as Mechanical, Electrical, Electronic, Chemical, Agricultural, Civil Engineering, etc., with specific training in Project Management (PMBOK, PRINCE2, etc.).
At least 2 years of relevant experience in similar roles, including client interaction and cross-departmental project management involving supply, installation, and commissioning of machinery in industrial, agricultural, or food sectors.
High level of English proficiency for global organization interaction.
Proactive, responsible, team-oriented, with leadership, communication, creativity, and learning abilities.
