Job Purpose
Define and distribute all Vueling policies, standards, and processes in Ground Operations to ensure all airports comply with Vueling regulations, policies, safety, and compliance standards.
Main Accountabilities
* Ensure compliance with Vueling regulations and policies at all airports.
* Adhere to company rules and policies.
* Minimize operational risks.
* Promote awareness and adherence to regulations and policies across airports.
* Improve departmental work environment.
* Fulfill job responsibilities effectively.
Main Responsibilities - Tasks
* Define policies, standards, and processes for Ground Operations.
* Ensure compliance with policies and standards at all airports.
* Establish safe operational procedures.
* Communicate, inform, and train Ground Operations staff.
* Receive and act on Safety and Compliance reports.
* Organize and manage the team, fostering development, teamwork, and communication.
* Perform any other tasks relevant to the role.
Main Relationships
* Compliance, Safety, Crews, Training, Customer Experience, Commercial departments.
Education
Bachelor's Degree in Aviation Management, Aeronautical Engineering, Business Administration (with a focus on Aviation), Safety & Compliance, or related field.
Experience
* Minimum of 5-7 years in a similar role, such as Station Manager in an airline or handling company.
Competencies
* Regulatory Knowledge & Compliance Awareness: Deep understanding of aviation regulations and adherence across operations.
* Leadership & Team Management: Ability to lead, develop, and motivate teams, promoting collaboration.
* Analytical Thinking & Problem Solving: Skills to identify risks, interpret data, and implement corrective actions.
* Communication & Stakeholder Management: Excellent communication skills for liaising with internal and external parties.
* Attention to Detail & Process Orientation: High focus on operational details and policy consistency.
