JIRA Admin Responsibilities
Administer, maintain, and optimize the Atlassian ecosystem including Jira Software, Jira Service Management, and Confluence.
Design and configure Jira workflows, schemes, and integrations.
Create and manage Jira projects, dashboards, filters, and queries.
Collaborate with engineering and program management partners.
Evaluate, install, and manage Atlassian Marketplace apps.
Own user management, permissions, and governance.
Lead system upgrades, migrations, and consolidation projects.
Document systems, configurations, and operational processes.
Setup automations to help team's do their work more efficiently.
Qualifications & Skills
Experience administering Jira and the broader Atlassian stack.
Understanding of Jira APIs, automation, and integrations.
Strong knowledge of agile methodologies.
Troubleshooting experience with system performance, workflows, and plugins.
Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.
Experience configuring Jira automations with, but not limited to, Github, GCP, CI/CD.
Preferred Qualifications & Skills
Experience building advanced dashboards and reports.
Knowledge of cloud and web technologies.
Curious, collaborative, and detail-oriented mindset.
