The Trade Credit Manager, Brazil will be based in our São Paulo office with the ability to manage and develop strategies for the country, travel when business requires and lead local underwriting team efficiently.

**Responsibilities**:
- Set, agree, and deliver financial and budgetary goals for the country.
- Producing, underwriting, and managing local portfolio in line with underwriting strategy and adhering to underwriting standards.
- Implement strategic plans as agreed with the senior leadership.
- Market credit insurance through a focused distribution system.
- Work together with all functions of the Trade Credit organization incl. Credit Officers.
- Monitor market movements and refine adaptation of local business plans.
- Lead, supervise, train, and develop the underwriting team.
- As a great manager you will provide direction, motivate and grow talent, and empower and coach teams toward higher levels of performance.
What we are looking for
- Studies in economics, actuarial, accounting and/or business administration.
- Several years of successful experience in banking and/or insurance, preferably in credit insurance, working capital/ receivables finance
- Experience in the development of conditions, concepts and wordings
- Experience and security in dealing with corporate customers and banks
- Ability to communicate and negotiate at C-level, ability to express clearly and precisely
- Willingness to make decisions, ability to work in a team, quick perception and good self-organization
- Personal initiative, commitment, resilience, flexibility
- Willingness to provide sales support and business trips (focus on Brazil)
- Business thinking, cost orientation and the ability to work in a profit-oriented manner
- Good knowledge of English, knowledge of other foreign languages would be an advantage
