Ready to join one of our Graduate Programmes in Spain? AIRBUS and Universidad Politécnica de Madrid (UPM) offer a full‑time programme that combines a Master in Composite Materials (MMCC) and an 11‑month internship at AIRBUS. The Master objective is to train graduates from engineering fields related to the aeronautical sector so that they acquire the knowledge required for the design, manufacture and certification of structures in composite materials. The Master can be combined with an internship in a related area of Composite Materials at Airbus.
Master tuition fee: 9900 € (possibility of installment payment). You will receive a grant of 875 € gross per month during the internship. The internship is 35 h/week from Monday to Friday (8:00–15:00 approx.) during eleven months (August excluded). University lectures are Monday to Thursday between 17:00 and 21:00; some sessions might be organized on Friday. Recruitment starts approx. in May 2026. The Master starts in early October 2026, internship around early January 2026 and the programme finishes after one academic year.
Academic Content
ST TERM: Constituent Materials and Characterization. Manufacturing processes for polymer‑matrix composites structures. Design of advanced composites structures.
ND TERM: Numerical simulation techniques. Analysis of advanced composites structures. Production management: lean manufacturing. Certification of aircraft composites structures.
RD TERM: In‑service behaviour and repairs. Project management and quality control. Metal matrix composites (MMC), ceramic matrix composites (CMC). Smart composites. Applications for space structures. Concurrent engineering. Environmental regulations. Nanocomposites and biocomposites. Recycling. Health and safety.
Master Thesis: Individual assignments equivalent to 27 ECTS (June–December).

Recently graduated or student pending a final thesis to finish the degree.
Studies in engineering.
English: negotiation level.
Spanish: negotiation level.
Team spirit and great collaboration skills.
