Mission Description
A leading international insurance and asset management group is looking for a Senior Backend Engineer (Node.js / Java) to join the CRM API team.
In this role, you will work closely with the CRM Product Owner and the development team to design, develop, and maintain backend services that support CRM applications. You will contribute to the implementation of new features, bug fixing, and the continuous improvement of application quality and performance.
The position involves strong collaboration with other teams and applications within the CRM ecosystem, ensuring scalable and high-quality backend solutions aligned with modern cloud and API standards.
Job Key Responsibilities
* Develop and implement user stories and backend features within the CRM API ecosystem.
* Maintain and improve existing backend services, ensuring high performance, scalability, and reliability.
* Implement Non-Functional Requirements (NFRs) defined by the architecture and CARE teams.
* Develop and maintain RESTful APIs used by multiple CRM applications.
* Participate in bug fixing, troubleshooting, and performance optimization of backend services.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth integration with other systems within the CRM scope.
* Contribute to code quality improvements, testing practices, and best development standards.
* Support the deployment and infrastructure processes within a cloud environment.
Essential Technical Qualifications
* Strong experience with Node.js and backend development.
* Solid knowledge of Java, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
* Experience designing and developing RESTful APIs.
* Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services.
* Knowledge of Terraform for infrastructure as code.
* Experience with Git / GitLab and collaborative development workflows.
* Experience with Swagger or similar API documentation tools.
* Ability to develop testable, reusable, and efficient code.
