The Skilled Operator supports and executes operational activities and processes according to established specifications and guidelines (quality, safety, and environment) to meet production and operational targets for the assigned area.
This role is the entry-level operator position, performing basic operational processes in production. The operator operates equipment and machinery requiring proficiency, acquired through training on the job and specialized training.
Knowledge of materials, equipment, and tools is essential, requiring time and experience to develop skills. Activities are largely routine, performed based on training, experience, and assistance from Multi-Skilled Operators, Supervisors, or Team Leaders when needed.
Job Description:
* Operational Tasks: Executes activities such as discharge, load, transport, cleaning, labeling, and equipment operation to ensure safe, effective, and efficient production.
* Maintenance & Repair Tasks: Inspects equipment periodically, performs minor maintenance, and signals defects or deficiencies.
* Reporting: Logs data on production orders and activities to maintain comprehensive records and monitor progress.
* Continuous Improvement: Reports deviations and suggests improvements to optimize processes, tools, and systems.
* Safety & Compliance: Adheres to safety, environmental, and quality regulations; promotes SHEQ awareness and acts on unsafe situations.
* Good Housekeeping: Keeps work areas clean, safe, and well-maintained, ensuring a hazard-free environment.
