About the Role
We are looking for a hands-on Field Service Engineer to support installation, commissioning, and after-sales service of power equipment across Spain and nearby regions. This role is highly field-based and requires regular travel to customer sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform on-site installation, testing, commissioning, and energization of electrical/power equipment in accordance with company and local standards
- Provide after-sales technical support, including troubleshooting, fault diagnosis, and corrective actions to ensure reliable equipment operation
- Respond promptly to customer issues and deliver effective technical solutions on-site
- Train and guide customers on equipment operation, routine maintenance, and safety practices
- Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations and maintain tools and testing equipment in good condition
- Support multi-site projects and travel frequently within Spain and occasionally across Europe
Requirements
- Technical diploma or above in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in electrical systems, such as: substation commissioning or maintenance, industrial equipment installation or troubleshooting, field service or project coordination
- Basic understanding of power systems, switchgear, transformers, or industrial electrical equipment
- Fluent in both Spanish and English (Must be able to communicate with colleagues and clients in the daily work)
- Willingness to work on-site and travel frequently
- Strong sense of responsibility, problem-solving mindset, and good communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in substation projects or high/medium voltage equipment
- Knowledge of European electrical standards (IEC, etc.)
- Previous experience working in an international or multicultural environment
