Reporting to the Mako Senior Director, the Senior Key Account Manager / Account Executive Mako leads high-value capital sales efforts within the MedTech sector, targeting C-suite executives in healthcare. This strategic role involves proposing financial solutions, developing business cases, and managing complex negotiations to promote adoption of premium technologies. The Account Manager will engage key stakeholders to secure successful outcomes and foster long-term partnerships with high-impact customers.

Your key responsibilities :
1. Manage the sales cycle as Account Executive Mako, guiding cross-functional teams and overseeing post-sale installation and training activities at customer sites in Iberica.
2. Collaborate with local implant teams, orthopedic surgeons, and hospital administration to advance accounts through the sales process of differential technology valued over $1,000,000.
3. Drive sales through both budgeted and off-budget processes, effectively managing stakeholders throughout.
4. Develop and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing customers, leveraging these to generate recurrent sales cycles.
5. Cultivate new sales opportunities with the Mako Sales Director and manage leads generated by the company.
6. Create, monitor, and adjust lead generation plans to ensure a robust sales pipeline.
7. Inform customers about new product and service offerings, providing input for new product planning.
8. Provide timely reports on key account activities, forecasts, and other metrics as required.
9. Participate in sales training, trade shows, and promotional events to increase product visibility.
10. Translate market data and financial opportunities into compelling customer propositions.
11. Promote surgeon validation labs and roadshows with the clinical support team to advance clinical validation.
12. Partner effectively with internal teams and marketing to build and support a robotics program pre- and post-installation.
What are we looking for?
Required :
* Bachelor’s degree in biomedical engineering, health sciences, business administration, or a related field.
* At least 5 years of capital sales experience.
* Proven negotiation skills at decision-making levels.
* Excellent presentation and communication skills in Spanish and English (minimum C1 level).
Preferred :
* Experience in MedTech and Orthopedics.
* Background in executive C-suite selling, understanding hospital financial operations.
* Ability to translate clinical benefits into economic value and use financial selling tools.
* Experience working within complex matrix organizations.
* Territory: Spain & Portugal.
* Location: Any well-connected city in Spain.
* Type: Field role.
* Travel: Up to 75%.
