Partner Solutions Architect, AWS for SAP, ASEAN

We are seeking an experienced and innovative SAP Partner Solutions Architect to join our team in Singapore. In this role, you will design and implement SAP solutions that align with our clients’ business objectives and technological needs across ASEAN. You will work closely with partners, clients, and internal teams to develop and execute complex SAP projects.
This position is part of the AWS Specialist and Partner Organization (ASP). Specialists own the end‑to‑end go‑to‑market strategy for their respective technology domains, providing the business and technical expertise to help our customers succeed. Partner teams own the strategy, recruiting, development, and growth of key technology and consulting partners. Together they provide our customers with the expertise and scale needed to build innovative solutions for their most complex challenges.
Key Job Responsibilities
- Work with SAP‑related customers and partners across ASEAN.
- Design and architect SAP solutions that meet client requirements and leverage the latest SAP technologies and best practices, including S/4HANA, SAP Cloud ERP, Cloud ERP Private, and SAP BTP.
- Collaborate with SAP partners to understand their product offerings and integrate them effectively into our solutions.
- Provide technical leadership throughout the project lifecycle, from pre‑sales to implementation and support.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and internal teams.
- Create detailed solution designs, technical specifications, and architectural diagrams.
- Conduct technical evaluation and provide recommendations on SAP and AWS product selection and implementation strategies.
- Understand and promote AWS services, features, and technology partner‑based solutions for SAP.
- Stay up‑to‑date with the latest SAP technologies, industry trends, and best practices.
- Mentor junior team members and contribute to the overall growth of the SAP practice across different teams.
- Participate in pre‑sales activities, including RFP responses and client presentations.
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide escalation support as needed.
A Day in the Life
A central focus is driving tech innovation across multiple AWS engineering, partner, customer, and go‑to‑market teams. The role involves analyzing emerging SAP technologies, especially Cloud ERP advancements, leading technical committees on AI automation in S/4HANA environments, authoring technical documentation on SAP BTP‑AWS integration, and conducting partner workshops to develop unique market solutions combining SAP and AWS capabilities. Mentoring other AWS SA teams on effective ways to leverage SAP solutions with other AWS services is also part of the day.

Basic Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in a specific technology domain (e.g., software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics).
- 3+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures.
- 10+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries.
Preferred Qualifications
- 5+ years of infrastructure architecture, database architecture and networking experience.
- Knowledge of SAP systems (e.g., SAP Business Suite, S/4HANA, SAP Business Warehouse, SAP HANA, SAP Business Objects) and their architecture and infrastructure needs.
- Experience working with end‑user or developer communities.
- Experience in a technical role within a sales organization.
- Experience building and growing relationships with internal and external partners.
- Experience in SAP clean core design concepts, including design and build using non‑SAP technologies in domains such as Generative / Agentic AI and data & analytics.
