Your role in the team
As legal specialist for devicenow, you lead and manage contract negotiations, ensure compliance of the company’s rental agreements, support our operational and sales teams, and oversee compliance with industry standards.
Responsibilities
- Fully review, check and confirm legal contracts between our Entities and the customers (mainly), suppliers, partners, other companies - for all types of services and/or subject matters.
- Provide full legal advice and response to the stakeholders of our general Entities and external requestors.
- Draft full versions of legal letters on behalf of legal department and/or our global Entities.
- Independently negotiate legal contractual / business between our Entities and other companies (mainly customers) as a leading person or core participant.
- Act as a face of legal department and/or company to the external stakeholders during meetings, negotiations, document exchange.
- Provide expert legal advice on the complex subject matter field within the legal department and complete the input from the relevant team members.
- Manage complex, long-term or bigger legal projects with regards to the subject matter of the team, prioritize tasks and manage the input and relevant criteria or necessary points of information.
- Independently manage discussions and exchanges with internal and external stakeholders on behalf of the legal team.
What we expect from you
- Excellent English and German verbal and written communication skills.
- At least 2 years of experience as an in-house lawyer or legal advisor is mandatory.
- Experience within a business Legal Department, preferably supporting sales and delivery teams.
- Strong experience with reviewing and negotiating commercial contracts, ideally in IT/services.
