About the role
In the Lead Qualification Specialist role, you will engage with high-priority inbound leads to cultivate and qualify leads. You will communicate with director-level and above prospects to understand business needs, key initiatives, budget and approval processes. Lead Qualification Specialists also facilitate proper lead transition to internal Account Executives to ensure a world‑class client experience.
What you will do
* Quickly engage with inbound leads from Gartner.com to capitalize on prospect’s interest in Gartner
* Assist in creating campaigns, recommendations, and business cases which will accelerate the sales opportunity and drive growth for the Become a Client Channel
* Execute email outreach utilizing campaign management tools, and make outbound calls to enrich prospect information by understanding lead profile, key initiatives, challenges, and most critical priorities
* Utilize internal tools and work with the Territory Management team to route leads appropriately
* Deliver a summary of the opportunity and background of client needs/expectations to the aligned business partners
* Coordinate and partner with sales executives to progress leads and opportunities throughout the sales cycle
* Leverage internal CRM and engagement platforms to track opportunities and completed sales

What you will need
* Bachelor’s Degree is preferred
* 1–2 years of business experience – experience in the information technology space is a plus
* Telephone sales and persuasiveness skills
* Project management skills
* Computer skills with working knowledge of the MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, and Excel)
* Strong will to win and executive presence
* Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills
