Mission:
The IT Procurement Trainee position is designed for individuals interested in gaining hands-on experience in procurement processes within the IT department. This role involves working closely with the IT Procurement Manager and team to ensure effective purchasing of IT equipment and services. Responsibilities include supporting procurement activities, conducting market research, reviewing purchase requests, and maintaining vendor relationships.
Responsibilities:
* Review Jira requests for purchasing new PCs or renewals.
* Determine if requests are for renewals or new equipment and proceed accordingly.
* Prepare and send orders to suppliers.
* Manage inventory renewals and equipment returns across hotels.
* Coordinate equipment orders for hotel openings in advance.
* Communicate equipment movements to suppliers to ensure correct billing and equipment return.
* Review service billing files and assist in re-billing hotels.
* Support in resolving service billing incidents.
* Respond to hotel inquiries regarding order status.
* Manage requests and orders for peripherals (monitors, keyboards, mice, switches, tablets, document readers, etc.).
Requirements:
* High school diploma.
* Fluency in the local language; knowledge of English is highly valuable.
* Working knowledge of computer software such as Microsoft Office and TMS.
